MAGGIE GOTTLIEB (she/they) is an award-winning comedy/dramedy writer based in L.A. She most recently worked on the upcoming EXPLODING KITTENS (Netflix) series, three seasons of the Emmy-winning children's program TAB TIME (YouTube Originals), and served as Showrunner’s Assistant for three seasons of THE BLACKLIST (Sony Pictures Entertainment). A Chicago native, Maggie took the scenic route to TV writing, making extended stops to earn a master’s degree in art history and spend over a decade performing with Chicago’s most renowned comedy institutions, including iO and The Second City. Maggie’s femme-forward writing combines humor and heart with a dash of magical realism and a palpable undercurrent of progressive politics. Her work has been recognized by Austin Film Festival, The Black List, Women in Film, Hollywood Fringe Festival, and WhoHaha.com.
